DESCRIPTION

This OTR driver position is responsible for transporting Tyson Foods' products in a safe, professional and timely manner to our facilities, distribution centers and customers. Job Description

This student driver position delivers Tyson products to customers with a certified driver trainer. The driver student will get hands-on experience to become a solo driver with Tyson Foods. This position requires working days and nights.

Tasks include:

1. Driving and operating a tractor trailer combination while monitoring the temperature of a refrigerated trailer.
2. Ensuring all shipping documentation (manifest, security seal sheet, bills of lading, shipping orders or freight bills) is available for inspection and accompanies shipments upon delivery.
3. Maintaining records for compliance with State and Federal regulations, including driver's logs, fuel purchases, mileage, etc.
4. Performing duties in accordance with company policies and regulations, ensuring safety and professional representation of the company.

Job Requirements

- Must pass a DOT urine and hair follicle test.

- Valid Class A CDL in the state of residence.

- Age 21 or older.

- Recent CDL school graduate, military CDL graduate, or less than 9 months of recent verifiable OTR experience.

- Able to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and road test.

- Reside in the defined hiring area.

- Must have a Tyson Driver Evaluation System score of 12 points or less.

- No DUI/DWI convictions in a commercial vehicle; no recent personal DUI/DWI.

- No positive DOT drug/alcohol test in the past 3 years.

- Meets Tyson PSP report minimum qualifications.

Pay: $600 per week
