Job summary

Estes Express is seeking qualified Line Haul Extraboard Drivers. The role requires operating a tractor-trailer, maintaining FMCSA-compliant records, and completing pre-trip inspections. You will drive under various terrain and weather conditions while upholding safety standards.

Eligible drivers must have a Class A CDL, HazMat/Tanker endorsements, and FMCSA Clearinghouse registration. The position emphasizes safety, compliance, and dependable service within the Estes network.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Must be registered with the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse
• HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required
• Must reside within 75 miles of the serviced center or work assignment
• Must pass FMCSA medical exam and road test
• Ability to meet FMCSA English reading/speaking requirements
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Operate all types of equipment to perform safety functions and drive in various terrains
• Safely operate a tractor/trailer per FMCSA regulations
• Maintain records in compliance with regulations
• Inspect vehicle pre-trip and post-trip
• Ensure security of equipment and cargo
• Use in-cab technology including ELDs as required
• Provide professional service to customers and maintain on-time performance
• Respond to questions and meet deadlines
• Adhere to company policies and safety rules
