Job summary

Dexter is seeking an experienced CDL A OTR Driver to deliver trailer parts and products across the U.S. You will operate 53' flatbed trailers, perform daily inspections, and keep DOT logs while maintaining a safe driving record.

The role offers a driver-friendly schedule, well-maintained equipment, and a predictable workload designed to support work-life balance. Prior flatbed or van experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class A CDL and DOT medical certification.
• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience (manual transmission).
• Good reading of work instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport trailer parts and products to Dexter branch locations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Complete required DOT logs and delivery documentation
• Communicate with dispatch regarding delays, road conditions, or equipment concerns
• Follow all DOT, federal, state, and company safety regulations
• Drive safely and professionally in varying weather and road conditions

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• 21 years of age or older
• Valid Class A CDL and DOT Medical Certification
• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience (manual experience required)
• Van or Flatbed experience preferred
• Clean driving record (no DWI/DUI in the last 3 years)
• Ability to read and follow work instructions in English
• Safety-focused and dependable
• Able to work independently without constant supervision
• Knowledge of DOT and truck driving regulations
• Ability to handle long driving days when needed
