Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an OTR Class A Dry Van Driver to join our safety-focused team. The route runs from the Pacific Northwest to Kimball, NE, averaging 2,800–3,000 miles per week.

Drivers typically earn $90,000–$120,000 per year with a $7,500 sign-on bonus. Bi-weekly home time and compensation that includes hourly on-duty pay plus mileage pay enhance earnings. Health benefits begin after 30 days, with 401(k) matching and other advantages available.

Qualifications

• OTR driving experience is required.
• Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements preferred.
• Ability to use mobile apps and computer tools for logs and dispatch.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor trailer units and haul hazardous/non-hazardous loads.
• Maintain accurate logs and trip reports, adhere to DOT regulations.
• Ensure loads are secured and loads unloaded/loading performed safely.

About the role:

• Drivers average $90-$120K per year

• $7,500 sign-on-bonus available

• Bi-Weekly home time

• Compensation includes hourly wages (all on-duty non-driving time) and mileage pay

• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles

• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units

• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads

• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations

• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

• Class A CDL

• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience

• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements

• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
