Job summary

PepsiCo in Appleton, WI is hiring a full-time tractor-trailer driver. You will safely operate a tractor/trailer, load and unload goods, and deliver to large grocery stores and manufacturing facilities.

You will maintain logs, conduct inspections, and communicate with dispatch throughout your shifts. Qualified candidates are 21+, hold a valid Class A CDL, and have 100,000+ accident-free miles or 2,500 accident-free hours.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must possess valid Class A CDL.
• Must have 100,000+ verifiable accident-free miles or 2,500 accident-free hours.
• Willing to work holidays and weekends.
• Able to lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Able to sit up to five hours daily.
• Able to work up to 14 hours a day and drive tractor-trailer up to 11 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor/trailer and transport products to and from destinations per FMCSA regulations.
• Load and unload trailers (manual, palletized, two-wheeler, overhead lifting).
• Transport chips, dips, and more to grocery stores, manufacturing facilities, and storage centers.
• Obtain signatures, pick up returns, complete logs and paperwork, review invoices/manifests.
• Use an electronic logging device and conduct pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Communicate with customers, sales drivers, and dispatch throughout the day/night.
