Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join their team in Cranston, RI. This flexible position allows for a minimum of 2 weeks out with an average salary of $200-250K per year.

Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, operating tractor trailer units, and proper loading and unloading of hazardous materials. Candidates must have a valid Class A CDL, HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements, and at least 12 months of driving experience.

The role also emphasizes a commitment to safety and offers bi-weekly home time.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• Ability to effectively use required technology.
• Valid Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Comply with health and safety practices at all times.

• Maintain logs, invoices, and inspection reports.

Job description

Clean Harbors is looking for an OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join their safety conscious team in Cranston, RI. This position will be a flex owner operator (ready to go anywhere) with minimum 2 weeks out.

Domicile - Preferably - RI, NJ, MD. Weekly Miles 2500-2800.

About The Role

• Average $200-250K per year
• Bi-Weekly home time
• Compensation package includes on-duty time paid via hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay

Responsibilities

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

Qualifications

• Class A CDL
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Minium 12 months of Class A driving experience
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
