Job summary

J Rose Enterprises in Houston is seeking entry level Class A CDL truck driver trainee for an Over-the-Road (OTR) position running all 48 states. A structured mentor training program helps you transition into a solo career with consistent miles and a clear path toward significant pay increases within your first year.

Training pays $75.00 per day during orientation, then starting pay is $0.35 per mile with increases to $0.55 after 3 months and $0.60 at 1 year.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL and have obtained it within the past 12 months.
• Limited recent carrier experience (no more than 3 months with another carrier).
• Must meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) safety, background, and drug/alcohol screening requirements.
• Must live within 90 days of Houston.

Responsibilities

• Operate Over-the-Road (OTR) routes across all 48 continental states.
• Be out 10–14 days with a cadence of 2,500+ miles per week.
• Rider policy is available; no pets allowed.
