Job summary

Clayton Homes (New) is seeking a CDL Driver for over-the-road deliveries based in Morristown, TN. The role involves dispatching with in-cab systems, daily logging, IFTA reporting, and ensuring regulatory compliance and safety inspections.

You will coordinate with customers and sales teams to move loads, maintain paperwork, and meet timelines. Flexibility for early/late hours and weekends may be required in this field.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid CDL license.
• OTR driving experience preferred.
• Comply with all FMCSA and USDOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Completes and maintains daily truck log, accurately and completely.
• Maintains accurate reporting of all expenses and receipts.
• Completes IFTA reports as required.
• Reports unsafe conditions regarding company equipment.
• Secures required customer signatures on shipping documents.
• Enters daily time in the ELC system and/or timecards.
• Uses in-cab truck computer for dispatching and loads information.
• Ensures vehicle meets professional standards and regulatory inspections.
• Loads and unloads company products safely and according to laws.
• Coordinates load movements with customers and sales reps.
