Job summary

Clayton is seeking a full-time CDL-A Truck Driver in Morristown, TN to transport company products safely, maintain compliance, and deliver excellent service to customers and sales teams.

Responsibilities include daily vehicle inspections, completing logs and IFTA reports, coordinating load movements, and ensuring paperwork accuracy. Clayton offers health/dental/vision benefits, a 401(k) with company matching, tuition reimbursement, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Three or more years professional driving experience, including mountain driving.
• Class A CDL required.
• No DUI, suspensions or DOT violations in the past 3 years (MVR).
• Prior customer service experience and strong communication skills.
• Basic mechanical experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Completes and maintains daily truck log, accurately and completely.
• Maintains accurate reporting of all expenses and receipts associated with day-to-day use of company credit and fuel cards.
• Completes IFTA reports manually and electronically as required.
• Reports unsafe conditions regarding the use of company equipment.
• Secures required customer signatures on shipping documents and load sheets.
• Enters daily time in the ELC system or timesheets daily.
