Job summary

Clayton Homes is seeking a Driver Supervisor in Morristown, TN to oversee CDL and Escort drivers, coach a team, and drive fleet productivity. You will ensure safe operations and meet delivery requirements while maintaining high service levels.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent, college degree preferred.
• CDL Class A preferred.
• 2+ years of prior supervisory experience.
• Must be able to speak and write clearly and professionally.
• Must be customer service oriented with a positive personality.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and have an aptitude to learn custom software programs.

Responsibilities

• Admin Omnitracs and driver logs.
• Foster driver success through relationship building and coaching.
• Manage DOT Hours of Service and driver logs.
• Monitor driving behaviors and initiate disciplinary actions if needed.
• Conduct driver meetings and planning sessions.
• Daily and weekly load planning and backhaul acquisition.
• Maintain trucks and records (maintenance, registrations, IFTA).
• Investigate accidents and DOT violations; resolve issues.
