Job summary

Altom Transport is actively seeking qualified tanker drivers to join our team in St. Louis, MO. You will safely operate tanker trucks, handle loading/unloading with hoses, pumps and valves, and maintain comprehensive trip logs to ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL Class A license.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required or must obtain within 90 days of hire.
• TWIC Card preferred or to be obtained after hire.
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable tanker driving experience in the last 5 years.
• Able to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tanker trucks transporting bulk liquid materials.
• Load and unload using hoses, pumps, and valves with safety protocols.
• Conduct and document pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate trip records and logs.
• Communicate professionally with dispatchers and customers.
• Adhere to all DOT, EPA, and safety regulations.
• Represent Altom professionally during customer interactions.
