Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A License.
• Must hold a current X endorsement (Hazmat + Tanker).
• Tanker Endorsement (N) - Required.
• Hazmat Endorsement (H) - Preferred (must obtain within 90 days; assistance available).
• TWIC Card - Preferred (or must obtain after hire).
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable tanker driving experience within the last 5 years.
• At least 23 years of age and clean MVR with strong safety record.
• No DUI/OWI in the last 5 years.
• Pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tanker trucks transporting bulk liquid materials.
• Load and unload using hoses, pumps, and valves with safety protocols.
• Conduct and document pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate trip records, logs, and inspection reports.
• Communicate professionally with dispatchers and customers.
• Adhere to DOT, EPA, and all safety/regulatory guidelines.
• Represent Altom with professionalism during customer interactions.
