Job summary

Altom Transport, a family-owned carrier, is seeking a tanker driver to safely operate our bulk liquid chemical and petroleum product fleet. You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, log trips, and communicate with dispatch to ensure on-time deliveries while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years verifiable tanker driving experience in the last 5 years.
• Valid CDL Class A with Hazmat + Tanker endorsements.
• Must meet DOT physical, drug screen, and background check requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tanker trucks transporting bulk liquid materials.
• Load and unload using hoses, pumps, and valves with strict safety protocols.
• Conduct and document pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate trip records, logs, and inspection reports.
• Communicate professionally with dispatchers and customers.
• Adhere to DOT, EPA, and all applicable safety and regulatory guidelines.
