Job summary

Altom Transport is seeking CDL A tanker drivers to safely operate our tanker fleet and haul bulk liquid chemicals and petroleum products.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL Class A license with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Minimum 2 years verifiable tanker driving experience in the last 5 years.
• Clean MVR and strong safety record; no major violations in past years.
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tanker trucks transporting bulk liquid materials.
• Load/unload using hoses, pumps, and valves following safety protocols.
• Perform and document pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate trip records, logs, and inspection reports.
• Communicate professionally with dispatchers and customers.
• Adhere to DOT, EPA, and all safety and regulatory guidelines.
• Represent Altom with professionalism during customer interactions.
