Job summary

Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, part of LifeBridge Health, seeks a Pharmacist with 3-5 years experience to manage compliance, quality programs, and specialty services. You'll oversee specialty pharmacy operations, review clinical data for safe complex therapies, and support staff performance.

Travel may be required to cover staffing across campuses. Qualified candidates hold a Maryland pharmacist license (or eligibility), and ACPE-accredited degree (PharmD/MScPhm/PharmB); BLS CPR certification is

• Education: PharmB, MScPhm or PharmD from ACPE-accredited school.
• License: Maryland Pharmacist license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license.
• Certification: American Heart BLS CPR

Responsibilities

• Maintains compliance and quality policies and programs.
• Interacts with other organization pharmacies on compliance and regulatory issues.
• Oversees specialty pharmacy services and staff; ensures ACHC/URAC requirements.
• Reviews clinical data to ensure safe dispensation of complex therapies.
• Evaluates specialty staff performance and supports staffing needs; travel may be required.

Job description

Responsibilities

Maintains compliance and quality policies and programs. Interacts with other organization pharmacies on compliance and regulatory issues. Provides oversight of the specialty pharmacy services and specialty staff. Responsible to ensure meeting and maintaining ACHC and URAC requirements. Create efficiencies in specialty workflow and responsible in handling, reviewing for relevant clinical data to ensure the safe dispensation of complex medication therapies associated with the specialized disease states. Responsible for specialty staff evaluations and ensuring optimal performance. Travel may be required when working to support staffing challenges at either hospital campus or as business conditions warrant.

Qualifications

3-5 years Education: Required: PharmB or MScPhm or PharmD Bachelor's degree in pharmacy from a School of Pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE) required Licenses And Certification: Required: Pharmacist License - Current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license; American Heart BLS CPR

Pay Range: $58.33 to $87.50 Based On Experience
