Job summary

Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, part of LifeBridge Health, is seeking a Medication Safety leader to support design and management of the system-wide program. You will analyze events, mitigate risks, and drive safety initiatives across care settings.

Responsibilities include education, committee participation, and KPI monitoring to maintain regulatory compliance and national safety standards. Collaboration with VP leadership is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of medication safety experience; 7+ years preferred.
• Maryland Pharmacist license required; PharmD or equivalent credential.

Job description

Assists the Vice President of Quality & Patient Safety and the Vice President of Pharmacy & Respiratory Therapy, to support the design, implementation, and ongoing management of the medication safety program across the health system.

Supports the identification, evaluation, and mitigation of medication-related risks through event review, data analysis, and the application of evidence-based practices.

Contributes to initiatives aimed at reducing patient harm, improving clinician workflows, and enhancing medication-use safety across care settings.

Serves as a medication safety subject matter resource, participates in multidisciplinary committees, and assists with monitoring key performance indicators to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and national safety standards.

Promotes a culture of safety through education, collaboration, and continuous improvement efforts.

Credentials:

• PharmB, or MScPhm, or PharmD
• Pharmacist License in Maryland

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Medication Safety duties; 7+ years of experience preferred

Pay Range: $58.33 to $87.50 Based On Experience
