Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking a physician to provide comprehensive medical services in both practice and hospital settings.

The role involves delivering high quality, cost effective care and participating in quality and performance improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have graduation from an accredited medical school with residency/fellowship in the specialty, current licensure (MD or DO), and board certification or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school with residency and/or fellowship completed in area of specialty.
• Current or recent experience in area of specialty.
• MD or DO licensed by the state and board certified or eligible in the area of specialty.
• Maintains confidentiality of all materials and follows safety and departmental policies.

Responsibilities

• Performs history and physical examinations of all patients seen.
• Provide cost-effective, high-quality care based on evidence-based medicine.
• Adheres to standardized orders and practice guidelines approved by the medical staff.
• Communicates with referring physicians, patients and families regularly.
• Participates in education of patients and their families.
• Coordinates patient care and makes referrals to other professionals as needed.
