Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network invites applications for a physician who provides medical services in general care and hospital settings.

The physician will offer comprehensive medical services, high quality, cost‑effective care, and participate in quality, patient satisfaction and performance improvement initiatives. The role requires graduation from an accredited medical school with residency/fellowship in the specialty, MD or DO license, and current or recent experience in the specialty.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school and completion of residency and/or fellowship in the area of specialty.
• Current or recent experience in the area of specialty.
• MD or DO – licensed by the state licensure board and eligible for board certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical services in general care and hospital settings with high quality and cost‑effective care.
• Perform history and physical examinations of all patients seen and initiate treatment as appropriate.
• Adhere to standardized orders and practice guidelines approved by the medical staff.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and other professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Engage in patient and family education and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
