Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school and completion of residency and/or fellowship in area of specialty.
• Current or recent experience in area of specialty.

Responsibilities

• Performs history and physical examination of all patients seen.
• Provide cost-effective, high-quality care based on evidence-based medicine.
• Adhere to standardized orders and practice guidelines approved by the medical staff.
• Demonstrates competency in assessment, treatment and communication appropriate to patient age.
• Communicates with referring physicians, patients and families.
• Participates in patient education and wellness counseling.
• Coordinates patient care and makes referrals to other professionals as needed.
• Collaborates with nurses, physicians, and outside agencies regarding patient care.
