Qualifications

• MD degree required with completion of Otolaryngology residency.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive head and neck examinations and diagnostic evaluations.
• Diagnose and treat diseases of the ears, nose, sinuses, and throat.
• Perform surgical procedures including tonsillectomies, sinus surgeries, and thyroidectomies.
• Use endoscopic and audiology equipment to support patient care.
• Manage hearing and balance disorders with medical or surgical interventions.
• Treat cancers of the head and neck with multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Maintain detailed EMR documentation for a rural patient population.
• Collaborate with audiologists and speech-language pathologists for integrated care.

Compensation: $700K - $750K+ per year

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive head and neck physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions of the ears, nose, sinuses, and throat
• Perform surgical procedures including tonsillectomies, sinus surgeries, and thyroidectomies
• Utilize specialized equipment like endoscopes to visualize the nasal passages and larynx
• Manage hearing and balance disorders through medical intervention or surgical implants
• Treat cancers of the head and neck, including the salivary glands and vocal cords
• Collaborate with audiologists and speech-language pathologists for integrated patient care
• Maintain detailed EMR documentation for a diverse patient population in a rural setting

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
• Completion of an accredited Otolaryngology residency program.
• Current, unencumbered Oregon medical license (or eligibility to obtain).
• Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Otolaryngology.
