Job Description: The Department of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at MaineGeneral is seeking a Board eligible or Board-certified general otolaryngologists to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a comprehensive ENT service provider in Central Maine, including specialties in rhinology, pediatrics, otology, and Head & Neck surgery, in collaboration with the Alfond Cancer Center.
About the Role: General otolaryngologists, including those currently completing residency training, are ideal candidates for our vacancies. As a new otolaryngology physician, you will have the opportunity to develop a special interest that complements our existing team. You will join two permanent otolaryngologists, including the Medical Director, who will provide mentorship for newly qualified ENT physicians.
Our on-call schedule is 1 in 4. During our rebuilding phase, we are provided additional call coverage remotely.
We provide well-equipped ORs, featuring CO2 laser, operating microscopes, nerve monitoring, and Medtronic Stealth Navigation systems.
