Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a QC Microbiology Supervisor in St. Louis, MO to lead a microbiology lab within an OTC drug manufacturing setting.

This role oversees testing, method development, and documentation to ensure quality and regulatory compliance, while guiding a team of microbiology professionals. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Microbiology or related field with extensive leadership experience in a regulated lab, strong communication skills, and a commitment to GMP/GLP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or related field required.
• Minimum 8 years leadership experience in OTC drug/medical device manufacturing.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and maintains quality specs for raw materials, bulk, and finished goods.
• Oversees testing of samples, including stability, method development, and R&D support.
• Trains and mentors Micro personnel; assigns tasks to ensure efficient QC.
• Coordinates with other departments to improve efficiency and cut costs; ensures GMP/GLP compliance.
