Job summary

Paycom is seeking a QC Microbiology Supervisor to oversee daily microbial laboratory operations and product release. You will coordinate OOS investigations, deviations, and NCRs, and ensure GMP/GLP compliance across the lab.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Microbiology with extensive leadership experience in OTC drug or medical device environments, and strong technical writing and data analysis skills. Responsibilities include mentoring staff and coordinating cross-functional improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or related field with 6 years microbiology laboratory experience.
• 8 years in a leadership role in OTC drug or medical device manufacturing, with microbiology lab focus.
• Knowledge of the FD&C Act and 21 CFR Parts 210/211 & 11.
• Superior communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day microbial lab operations and product release.
• Coordinate and approve OOS investigations, deviations, and NCRs; complete Phase I and II of OOS investigations.
• Train and mentor microbiology personnel; conduct performance evaluations.
• Ensure GMP/GLP compliance and regulatory requirements; interface with other departments to improve efficiency.
