Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Software Integration Quality Engineer to ensure end-to-end OTA software delivery across GM vehicles. You will work with sub-system test benches to validate critical features during development milestones, developing technical capability and collaborating with design, systems, suppliers, and back-office teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience within software quality.
• Understanding of automotive serial data protocols (CAN, Ethernet, etc).
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to operate test vehicles.
• Ability to manage multiple project assignments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans and procedures on sub-system benches.
• Author automation test scripts.
• Build, maintain and manage test environments for manual and automated runs.
• Triage system-level nonconformities by analyzing data logs.
• Document anomalies using standard issue tracking tools.
• Follow issue resolution from origination thru verification, closure, and monitoring.
