Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join a patient-centered facility team. You will implement OT programs, follow recovery plans, and deliver treatments to help patients regain function and independence.

In facility work environment, you will report to the Director of Rehab and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide compassionate, high-quality care across settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program per AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities according to recovery plans.
• Deliver therapy treatments and monitor patient progress.
• Address the whole patient and support independence and recovery goals.
• Collaborate with teammates and refer to others to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain patient-centered, compassionate care in all interactions.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program

NBCOT Initial Certification

Licensed and/or eligible for licensure in state of practice
