Recover-Care Heartland is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist Assistant to support a licensed occupational therapist in patient treatment programs in Blue Rapids, Kansas. You will screen residents, assist with therapies, and help maintain progress notes.

This role includes training residents and families, coordinating scheduling, and ensuring privacy and documentation standards are met. AOTA-accredited associate degree and state licensure (COTA) may be required.

Competenze

• Associates Degree from a AOTA accredited program.
• Licensed COTA if required by state law.

Mansioni

• Conduct resident screens per state practice act.
• Help residents with rehabilitative activities and exercises outlined in a treatment plan developed in collaboration with an occupational therapist.
• Monitor residents' activities to ensure correct performance and provide encouragement.
• Record residents' progress for use by the occupational therapist.
• May assist in scheduling appointments, answering calls, restocking supplies, and filling out insurance forms or other paperwork.
• Provide training to residents, caregivers and families according to the resident’s care plan.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Formazione

Associates Degree from a AOTA accredited program

Licensed COTA if required by state law
