Apploi is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to support licensed occupational therapists in implementing patient treatment plans in a facility in Kansas. The OTA will perform resident screens, assist with therapeutic activities, monitor progress, and document outcomes under supervision.

The role may involve scheduling, communication with families and caregivers, and ensuring privacy and regulatory compliance.

Qualifikationen

• Associates Degree from a AOTA accredited program.
• Licensed COTA if required by state law.

Aufgaben

• Conducts resident screens (without interpretation).
• Assists residents with rehabilitative activities/exercises per treatment plan.
• Monitors activities to ensure correct performance and provide encouragement.
• Records resident progress for use by the occupational therapist.
• May assist in scheduling appointments, answering phones, restocking supplies, and filing insurance forms.
• Provides training to residents, caregivers and families per care plan.
• Completes forms and documents per company policy and laws.
