Job summary

NOVA’s Occupational Therapy Assistant Program Director will oversee program administration, ACOTE compliance, budgeting, faculty selection, and ACOTE reporting. The role integrates with NOVA’s OTA teaching faculty and requires leadership in program development and accreditation activities.

The position emphasizes collaboration with fieldwork sites, articulation agreements, and ongoing program evaluation to ensure graduates meet learning objectives and licensure requirements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field with OT undergrad.

Responsibilities

• Ensure ACOTE standards are met and program complies with NOVA policies.
• Develop, revise and teach OTA program courses.
• Provide student advising and fieldwork supervision as needed.
• Coordinate accreditation activities for OTA curriculum.
• Collaborate with faculty, fieldwork sites, and partners to meet objectives.
