Job summary

The director collaborates with fieldwork sites, supports accreditation activities, advises students, and ensures program effectiveness to meet learning objectives and ACOTE standards.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certification required.
• Active Virginia OT/OT Assistant licensure (or ability to obtain/renew).
• Minimum 5 years of full-time experience including clinical practice.
• Experience in postsecondary teaching and program administration.
• Familiarity with ACOTE standards and fieldwork coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead program compliance with ACOTE standards and NOVA policies.
• Oversee admissions, curriculum, budgeting, and faculty development.
• Coordinate fieldwork agreements and supervise fieldwork as needed.
• Advise students and monitor progress toward graduation.
• Attend meetings and participate in accreditation activities.
