Continuum Therapy Partners seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support patient care at Heritage Hall Big Stone Gap, VA. The role emphasizes implementing treatment plans under OT supervision and educating patients on home exercise programs.

The ideal candidate holds an OTA credential, active state COTA license, NBCOT certification, and prefers 1 year of prior COTA experience to contribute to a patient-centered care model.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant Program required
• Current, unencumbered state COTA License; NBCOT Certification required
• 1 year of previous experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant preferred
• Implements individualized treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Documents patient progress and reports changes in patient status to the supervising OT
• Educates patients on adaptive equipment and home exercise programs
