Job summary

Synchrony is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in Ohio. Under the direction of an Occupational Therapist, you will provide therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary setting, following established practices and ethical standards.

Must hold an OTA license and CPR is preferred. Responsibilities include executing treatment plans, assisting with ADL training, documenting patient responses, and educating patients and families on home programs.

Qualifications

• Education: OTA degree from an accredited program.
• Experience: 0-1 years.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out treatment plans and ADL training.
• Help patients with exercises to improve function.
• Document patient progress and report to supervising OT.
• Educate patients and families on home exercises and adaptive techniques.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Support OTs in evaluating patient needs and progress.
• Other duties as assigned.
