Job summary

The Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) at Trilogy Health Services, LLC supports therapeutic interventions under an Occupational Therapist within an interdisciplinary care team. The role emphasizes ADL training, progress documentation, and patient education to promote independence.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a current, valid state OTA licensure or certification.
• Current CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out treatment plans developed by occupational therapists, including therapeutic exercises, ADL training, and other interventions.
• Help patients with exercises, activities, and adaptive techniques to improve function and independence.
• Observe and document patient responses, progress, and report findings to the supervising therapist.
• Provide education and guidance to patients and families on home exercises and adaptive techniques.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Support OT in evaluating patient needs and progress with additional observations.
• Other duties as assigned.
