Willow Branch Health and Rehabilitation in McMinnville, TN is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house therapy team. Qualifications

• OTA program graduate and licensed.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic internet navigation.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Director of Rehabilitation and Occupational Therapist.
• Assist in screening and providing input to initial evaluations as appropriate.
• Implement treatment for assigned patients in accordance with the established plan of care.
• Comply with state and federal guidelines regarding accurate and timely documentation and billing.
• Establish and maintain effective patient-centered interactions with patients, interdisciplinary team members, and facility staff.
• Provide direct supervision to rehabilitation technicians during group and individual treatment.
• Participate in utilization review, case management, care conferences, and administrative meetings as directed by the OT.
• Maintain awareness of changes in patient conditions and programs, and communicate patient progress in a timely manner.
