Job summary

Ahava Therapy Services is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house rehab team at Whites Creek Wellness & Rehab in Whites Creek, TN. You will assist with OT treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.

Qualified candidates have OTA program diploma, active license or eligibility, CPR/BLS, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Active OTA license or eligibility to practice in TN.
Current BLS/CPR certification.
Strong observational, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Provide occupational therapy treatments to residents according to the OT treatment plans.
Assist the OT with tests, evaluations, and complex treatment procedures.
Observe, record, and report conditions, reactions, and responses related to assigned duties.
Maintain daily treatment records and document progress notes as directed.
Assist the therapist in consulting with family members, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Assist with the care of the occupational therapy department and equipment.
Attend in-service programs and other meetings as assigned.
