Job summary

Champion Technology Services, Inc. seeks an OT Solution Specialists Co-Op to assist and shadow OT Specialists.

You will participate in project fulfillment, design and development of automation systems, and support OT solutions related to IC networks and cybersecurity lifecycles. The role involves creating asset inventories, network diagrams, system architectures, and operating procedures, while modifying OT systems and solving technical problems.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university with GPA ≥ 3.0.
• Interest in computer programming, computer science, automation controls, robotics, cybersecurity, or related fields.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation with liability insurance.
• Fluent in verbal and written English.
• Ability to bend, stoop, crawl, walk and lift 50+lbs for an extended period.
• Available for after-hours, weekend, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in project fulfillment (technical) within a team.
• Design and develop automation systems in a team setting.
• Assist in development and maintenance of OT solutions related to IC networks and industrial cybersecurity lifecycle.
• Provide asset inventories, network diagrams, system architecture diagrams, zone and conduit diagrams, operating procedures.
• Modify and maintain OT systems.
• Test, troubleshoot, and provide solutions to technical problems.
• Write computer and automation software and programs as necessary.
• Contribute to project installation, commissioning and reporting.
• Participate in project tasks: kickoff, system design/procurement, programming/configuration, FAT, SAT/commissioning, close-out documentation.
• Contribute to overall compliance and quality of projects.
• Manage time and expenses within allotted project budget.
• Provide project-level consultancy and client service.
• Strong communication skills, especially during sensitive situations.

Position Overview

The OT Solution Specialists Co-Op assists and shadows the OT Specialists as they complete the following job functions. The OT Solution Specialists Co-Op will be required to perform some or all of these job functions as he/she becomes more experienced.

Primary Job Functions

• Project Fulfillment (Technical)
• Entry level design and development of automation systems within a team.
• Assists in development and maintenance of OT solutions related to IC networks and industrial cybersecurity lifecycle.
• Provides industrial network and cybersecurity lifecycle deliverables such as asset inventories, network diagrams, system architecture diagrams, zone and conduit diagrams, operating procedures.
• Modifies and maintains OT Systems
• Tests, troubleshoots, and provides solutions to technical problems.
• Writes computer and automation software and programs as necessary.
• Contributes to project installation, commissioning, project closure and inspections/reporting.
• Participate in the following project tasks:

Requirements

• Presently attending an accredited college or university, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Interest in computer programming, computer science, automation controls, robotics, cybersecurity, or other highly technical systems.
• Valid driver’s license.
