Job summary

Champion Technology Services, Inc. is seeking an entry-level OT Solution Specialist I to help design, install and support industrial technology solutions for projects, including ICS network design, cybersecurity, IIoT, and analytics.

You will work with engineers and customers to deliver project tasks within scope and budget, travel offshore when needed, and develop skills in system design, configuration, FAT/SAT, and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field, or 3+ years OT/related experience.
• Willingness to travel offshore when required.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Participates in development and maintenance of OT solutions related to ICs.
• Produces network diagrams, system architecture diagrams, zone and conduit diagrams, and operating procedures.
• Tests and troubleshoots technical problems; writes software as needed.
• Interprets technical docs (P&ID, schematics, manuals) and interfaces with customers/vendors.
• Delivers project tasks within allocated budget; contributes to scope and budget.
• Supports project phases: kickoff, design/procurement, programming/configuration, FAT, SAT, commissioning, close-out.

Primary Job Function

• Participates in development and maintenance of OT solutions related to IC
• Provides industrial network and cybersecurity lifecycle deliverables such as network diagrams, system architecture diagrams, zone and conduit diagrams, operating procedures.
• Tests, troubleshoots and provides solutions to technical problems.
• Writes computer software and programs as necessary.
• Able to read and interpret technical documentation (Process Control Network diagrams, schematics, manuals, etc.).
• Interfaces with the customer / vendor on project technical requirements.
• Responsible for delivery of all project tasks within allotted project budget.
• May be required to contribute to project scope and budget development.
• Promotes Project Methodology and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or relevant Technical degree), or a minimum of 3 years of Operational Technology or related experience (includes relevant intern, co-op, or basic work experience).
• Interest in providing highly technical solutions to the industrial sector.
• Awareness of Industrial Control System networks and protocols.
• May possess relevant intern, co-op and or basic work experience.
• Ability to travel offshore when necessary.
• Reliable personal transportation with valid liability insurance.
• Fluent in verbal and written English.
• Available for after-hour, weekend and holidays.
• Available for overnight and extended travel.
