Job summary

Champion Technology Services, Inc. seeks an OT Solution Specialists Co-Op to assist and shadow OT Specialists while gaining experience in automation design and OT cybersecurity lifecycle.

You will participate in tasks from kickoff to close-out, contribute to project documentation, and support client services with strong communication and attention to detail. This paid position targets students pursuing technical degrees and offers hands-on learning in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Presently attending an accredited college or university with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Interest in computer programming, computer science, automation controls, robotics, or cybersecurity.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable personal transportation with valid liability insurance.
• Fluent in verbal and written English.
• Ability to bend, stoop, crawl, walk and lift 50+lbs for extended periods.
• Available for after-hours, weekend, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Entry level design and development of automation systems within a team.
• Assist in development and maintenance of OT solutions related to ICS networks and industrial cybersecurity lifecycle.
• Provide asset inventories, network diagrams, system architecture diagrams, zone and conduit diagrams, operating procedures.
• Modify and maintain OT Systems; test, troubleshoot and provide solutions.
• Write computer and automation software and programs as necessary.
• Contribute to project installation, commissioning, project closure and inspections/reporting.
• Participate in project tasks: Kickoff, System Design/Procurement, Programming/Configuration, FAT, Close-out Documentation.
• Contribute to overall compliance and quality of projects.
• Manage time and expenses within allotted project budget.
• Provide project level consultancy and client service.
• Demonstrate strong communication in sensitive situations.
• Foster teamwork across departments/locations to support company mission.

Job description

The OT Solution Specialists Co-Op assists and shadows the OT Specialists as they complete the following job functions. The OT Solution Specialists Co-Op will be required to perform some or all of these job functions as he/she becomes more experienced.

Primary Job Functions

o Entry level design and development of automation systems within a team.

o Assists in development and maintenance of OT solutions related to ICS networks and industrial cybersecurity lifecycle.

o Provides industrial network and cybersecurity lifecycle deliverables such as asset inventories, network diagrams, system architecture diagrams, zone and conduit diagrams, operating procedures.

o Modifies and maintains OT Systems

o Tests, troubleshoots, and provides solutions to technical problems.

o Writes computer and automation software and programs as necessary.

o Contributes to project installation, commissioning, project closure and inspections/reporting.

o Participate in the following project tasks:

• Project Kickoff
• System Design / Procurement
• Programming / Configuration
• FAT
• Close-out Documentation

o Contributes to overall compliance and quality of projects.
