Sigma Health Rehab is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to work in a Skilled Nursing Facility. The role includes evaluating residents, developing individualized OT plans, and promoting independence in daily activities.

New York-licensed OTs with SNF or geriatric experience are preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply. A $6,000 sign-on bonus is offered and a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
• Current New York State OT License
• Experience in a skilled nursing or geriatric care setting preferred, but new graduates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply

Responsabilités

• Evaluate residents & develop an OT treatment plan meeting individual needs
• Choose activities to help residents perform daily activities independently
• Observe, assess, and document residents' OT progress with detailed reports
• Maintain resident confidentiality and oversee information handling
• Maintain cooperative relationships within the healthcare team
