Sigma Health Rehab is seeking a Full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to work in a Skilled Nursing Facility in New York, NY. A $5,000 Sign-On Bonus is offered for this position.

Qualified candidates will have a NY OT license and a degree from an accredited OT program; new graduates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply. Excellent benefits and professional development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• Current New York State OT License.
• Experience in skilled nursing or geriatric care is preferred, but new grads encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop OT treatment plans meeting individual needs.
• Choose activities to help residents perform daily activities independently.
• Observe, assess, and document residents' OT progress with detailed reports.
• Maintain resident confidentiality in information processing.
• Maintain a cooperative relationship among the healthcare team.
