Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking an experienced server support professional for the OT team. The role focuses on maintaining backup systems, server health, and automation to support plant operations.

You will collaborate with OT peers, customers, and vendors to implement robust solutions with minimal service disruption. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of related experience, a bachelor’s degree in a technical field, and hands-on skills in PowerShell, SQL, and monitoring tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with practical experience and 2–5 years of related work.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• 3+ years experience with backup and recovery technologies and with large production server environments.
• Experience with SCOM or other monitoring tools and with SCCM server patching and reporting.
• 2+ years experience with scripting tools such as PowerShell and with SQL queries.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain Veeam backup and recovery servers and jobs.
• Support backup, file services, and server patching efforts across plant domains.
• Architect solutions for process improvement and automate routine tasks.
• Participate in on-call rotations and disaster recovery activities.
• Document processes and provide timely project/system documentation.
