Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Security Engineer (OT) to secure OT networks across launch, vehicle, test, and production environments. You will design architectures, write software for OT/on-prem systems, and automate data center networking.

This hands-on role requires building secure controls and collaborating with engineering, IT, and site teams. Ideal candidates have a CS/STEM degree or 2+ years in security software development, plus experience with Python, Go, C/C++, C#, or Rust and OS/infrastructure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or STEM, or 2+ years security software development experience.
• Experience with Python, Go, C#, C/C++, or Rust.
• Experience designing security solutions for OS, distributed systems, or large-scale infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate security for OT networks supporting launch, vehicle, test, and production.
• Design network and security architectures; create diagrams and design docs.
• Write and deploy software that runs in OT and on-prem networks.
• Automate on-prem and data center networking.
• Implement network segmentation and access control in OT.
• Monitor, detect, and respond to security issues on OT networks.
• Partner with engineering, IT, and site teams; document architectures and procedures.
