SpaceX is seeking an OT Security Engineer to join Information Security and protect OT networks that support launch, vehicle, test, and production. You will write software, automate on-prem and data center networking, and create architectures.

This hands-on security software and network engineering role collaborates with engineering, IT, and site teams. Qualifications include a STEM degree or 2+ years in security software development and experience with Python/Go/C/C++/Rust.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or another STEM discipline or 2+ years of professional security software development experience.
• Experience with Python, Go, C#, C/C++, or Rust.
• Experience designing and implementing security solutions for operating systems, distributed systems, or large-scale infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate security for OT networks supporting launch, vehicle, test, and production.
• Design network and security architectures and produce diagrams and design documentation.
• Write and deploy software that runs in OT and on-prem network environments.
• Automate on-prem and data center networking.
• Implement network segmentation and access control in OT environments.
• Monitor, detect, and respond to security issues on OT networks.
• Partner with engineering, IT, and site teams.
• Document architectures, standards, and operating procedures.
