Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an OT (Operational Technology) Systems Engineer to design, deploy, and support backend infrastructure for next-generation controls and industrial software in launch, manufacturing, and commodities environments. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a STEM discipline and 3+ years of OT systems engineering or industrial control systems administration; OR 5+ years in lieu of a degree.
• Hands-on experience with multiple industry-standard controls software platforms and tools.
• Significant experience designing, deploying, supporting, and troubleshooting OT environments in high-reliability settings.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and augment next-generation OT environments across multiple sites.
• Install, configure, maintain, and support controls software platforms and HMIs.
• Integrate IT technologies to simplify management, improve security, and enable scalable plant environments.
• Provide on-call and after-hours support during launches, tests, and production campaigns.
• Write and maintain standards, architectures, and procedures for highly reliable industrial environments.
