Job summary

National Grid is seeking an innovative OT Security Engineer to join our US OT Security Engineering team. You will design and deliver security solutions to protect our critical assets across gas, electric, and renewables portfolios. You will engage with stakeholders, perform risk assessments in ICS/SCADA/OT environments, and help implement robust cyber security controls.

Travel up to 25% may be required. This role emphasizes practical experience with IT and OT networks, protection and control

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related.
• Experience managing IT infrastructure (firewalls, routers, switches, servers, workstations).
• Experience with ICS/SCADA/OT environments.
• Strong ICS/SCADA/PCS/DCS experience in OT environments.
• Understanding of IEC 62443, NERC CIP.
• Ability to deliver services to internal/external customers with high satisfaction.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and deliver cyber security solutions.
• Design cyber security products including architecture reviews and testing.
• Perform risk assessments in ICS/SCADA/OT environments.
• Engage with stakeholders to meet requirements.
• Provide ongoing support through product lifecycle.
