Long Island Power Authority is seeking an IT Senior Analyst for Operational Technology and Cybersecurity to oversee ICS/SCADA environments, identify vulnerabilities, monitor security events, and support incident response. The role collaborates with engineering, IT, operations, and compliance teams to strengthen cybersecurity while preserving system availability and safety.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in cybersecurity, IT, engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in cybersecurity or OT environments, with utility/industrial exposure recommended.
• Certifications such as CISSP, GICSP, Security+ or ISA/IEC 62443 preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor OT environments for cyber threats and anomalies using security tools and coordinate with OT groups.
• Analyze alerts affecting SCADA, PLCs, HMIs, DCS, and related infrastructure.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability reviews for OT assets; coordinate with OT Cyber group for remediation.
• Support incident response and disaster recovery planning for operational systems.
• review OT cybersecurity policies and assist with annual testing with minimal production disruption.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to implement security controls and improve resilience.
• Maintain accurate asset inventories, network diagrams, and OT baselines.
• Evaluate security technologies for energy management and SCADA systems.
• Participate in audits, regulatory reporting, and compliance activities.
• Stay current with OT cyber threat trends and update practices accordingly.
