Job summary

Life Care Center of Hilo seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide direct rehab services to residents per physician referrals, aligning with Life Care standards. The setting supports mentorship for new grads, ongoing CE, and growth opportunities in a 250+ bed, team-focused facility.

Required NBCOT, BSOT/MSOT, state licensure, CPR, and 1 year of experience preferred; CPR kept current. We offer a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits in a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certification required upon hire or maintained.
• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program (BSOT or MSOT).
• Currently registered/licensed in the applicable state and keep license active.
• One year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
• CPR certification required upon hire or during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Participates in community health matters/projects as appropriate.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
• Liaisons with patients, families, and support departments to plan patient needs.
• Maintain good body mechanics at all times.
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
