Southern TN Regional Health System - Pulaski is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team on a PRN basis. The OT will provide services to patients to develop, recover, and maintain occupational skills, assess abilities, implement treatment plans, document progress, and assist with discharge planning.

Responsibilities include educating patients and families, collaborating with the care team, and adjusting plans as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• TN State Licensure for Occupational Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.

Aufgaben

• Provides occupational therapy services to patients needing to develop, recover and maintain occupational skills.
• Assesses patient's ability to safely and effectively perform occupational skills.
• Designs the plan of care, including type and frequency of treatment.
• Implements the treatment plan using appropriate modalities.
• Documents patient progress and findings.
• Monitors and modifies the plan of care as needed.
• Seeks consultation as necessary.
• Educates patient and family/caregiver about deficits.
• Assists with discharge planning from therapy services.
