Job summary

Peak Rehabilitation Hospital seeks an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our care team on a PRN basis. You will assess patient needs, design therapy plans, implement treatments, document progress, and educate patients and families in a fast-paced inpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• State licensure for Occupational Therapy.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient ability to perform occupational skills and design plan of care.
• Implement treatment plan using appropriate modalities.
• Document subjective and objective progress.
• Monitor and modify the plan of care as needed; seek consultation.
• Educate patient and family/caregiver about deficits.
• Plan/discharge patient from therapy and advise on adaptive equipment.
• Supervise and delegate to assistants per licensing laws.
