Job summary

Stern Therapy Consultants in Lowell, MA is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation team in a skilled nursing and post-acute care setting. You will perform OT evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and support resident independence.

This flexible opportunity offers collaboration with PTs, COTAs, SLPs, and nursing staff, with a strong emphasis on ADLs, cognition, balance, and safety, plus opportunities for additional PRN shifts.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts OT license required.
• Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills.
• Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Complete occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide treatment focused on ADLs, upper extremity function, cognition, coordination, balance, and safety.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and compensatory strategies to support resident independence.
• Collaborate with PTs, COTAs, SLPs, nursing staff, and physicians to coordinate care.
• Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
