Job summary

Autumn Lake at Chesapeake Woods in Cambridge, MD is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for a PRN opportunity. You will assess residents, develop plans of care, and help improve daily function, safety, and independence through individualized occupational therapy.

This role offers flexible PRN hours, a collaborative rehab team, and a meaningful chance to impact residents' daily lives by promoting independence and optimizing functional outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland OT license required.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• New graduate OT welcome to apply.
• Experienced in skilled nursing or rehabilitation preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop personalized OT plans of care.
• Address activities of daily living, strength, balance and cognition.
• Set therapy goals and monitor resident progress.
• Recommend adaptive techniques and equipment for independence.
• Modify interventions based on progress and needs.
• Educate residents and caregivers on therapy plans.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with COTAs, nursing and rehab staff.

$55–$60/hour | PRN

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for a PRN opportunity at Autumn Lake at Chesapeake Woods. This role offers flexible scheduling while allowing you to help residents improve everyday function, safety, and independence through individualized occupational therapy.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy plans of care
• Provide treatment addressing activities of daily living, strength, coordination, balance, cognition, and functional performance
• Establish appropriate therapy goals and monitor progress
• Recommend adaptive techniques and equipment to promote independence
• Modify interventions based on resident needs and clinical progress
• Provide resident and caregiver education
• Complete accurate clinical documentation
• Work collaboratively with COTAs, nursing, and other rehabilitation professionals
